Meet The Team

Dr Sotirios Gkoles is the Principal Dentist and owner of Garvey’s Tower Dental. Originally from Greece, he qualified from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, in 2003 before gaining valuable experience in private practice in Greece.

In 2006, he joined Garvey’s Tower Dental, where he has continued to build on his commitment to clinical excellence, lifelong learning, and personalised patient care. Sotirios regularly undertakes further training and professional development, with a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He enjoys helping patients restore function, improve aesthetics, and regain confidence in their smiles.

One of the most rewarding parts of his work is helping anxious patients feel at ease. Sotirios takes pride in creating a calm, reassuring environment where patients feel listened to, understood, and well cared for.

Daniel graduated from Trinity College Dublin with Distinction in Dental Technology in 2009. Here, he received 3 final year awards including “Best All-Round Student” from the Dental Council. Following graduation, he worked and lectured in the Dublin Dental University and Hospital.

Daniel then embarked on a career change and since qualified from Trinity College Dublin with an overall Honours grade, with a First Class Honours in Restorative Dentistry. Daniel practices to the highest standards of clinical dentistry with a particular interest in restorative dentistry, oral surgery and improving patients’ confidence in their smile.

Xiang qualified as a general dentist with postgraduate training in Poland and the UK. Prior to joining us, he gained valuable experience working in Ireland, honing his skills in general and restorative dentistry.

Xiang has a keen interest in modern digital dentistry and ensure treatments are comfortable and precise. Nervous patients are put at ease in Xiang’s surgery because of his gentle approach and his commitment to a relaxed, stress-free environment. He is dedicated to providing high-quality care to all his patients.

Michelle is a qualified dental nurse and the longest serving member of the nursing staff. She joined our team in 2004 and she holds a diploma from the NEBDN. She is very experienced at dealing with all aspects of patient care. She is well known in the local community and she is the friendly and welcoming face of our practice. Michelle will be happy to help you and guide you on what to expect during your visit.

Tanya joined our team in 2017 and fitted in immediately – she has a great understanding of patients’ needs and the environment of the dental practice. Prior to joining us, she worked in a private clinic in Dublin 6 for 4 years and has great experience with busy dental practices.

Kim joined our practice in 2002 and she is one of the longest standing and most valuable members of our nursing team. She holds a diploma from the NEBDN. Kim is very experienced and has a great understanding of patients’ needs.
